 Bicycles must be equipped with headlights, reflective glass in the rear, and a bicycle bell. Not only that, if you violate these rules, get ready to pay a fine.

below is a ban and a fine of cycling in Japan:
- If we piggybacking one friend or more, we will be subject to a fine of 20,000 yen.
- Cycling while adjacent to the friends bike, will be fined 20,000 yen or 2 months in jail.
- Cycling while listen to music using earphones will be fined 50,000 yen.
- Use an umbrella or a mobile phone while cycling, will be subject to a fine of 50,000 yen or 3 months imprisonment.
- Don't use the lights when cycling at night, will be fined 50,000 yen.
- Cycling on the wrong track, will be subject to a fine of 50,000 yen or 3 months imprisonment. 
- Break through the red light when cycling, will be fined 50,000 yen or 3 months imprisonment. 
- Do not climb on the bike belongs pedestrian crosswalks. We had to get off and walk guided bike. If we break them, will be fined 50,000 yen or 3 months imprisonment.
